That aside, I get push notifications for certain podcasts while others go automatically to my Up Next playlist. For a shitload of podcasts I have personalized settings ranging from 2.0 playback speed to no silence trim. My standard playback settings are with 1.6x speed, medium trim silence and voice boosting. If there were a competent alternative out there I'd seriously consider moving platforms. From "go online to see the menu" even when I'm browsing my downloaded playlist while perfectly connected to the internet to the desktop app taking ages to start up. However I still find myself arm wrestling it on mobile and desktop pretty much daily. Spotify is great for many reasons and it has really broadened my music tastes with their suggestions and personalized playlists. I'm a long time user of both Spotify and Pocket Casts and their premium packages. Stumbled across this thread earlier today, went about my errands and now that I've got back to it it's been answered already and looks like you even made up your mind.
